A delegation of aliens from another Galaxy is visiting Earth!  They want to discover more about our galaxy, so a Special Milky Way Expo has been organized and scientists from all around the globe have been invited to attend.  In this unit, children take on the role of a scientist to investigate a space-related topic in order to create a 3D model. Children will engage with the Primary Connections Unit Spinning in Space to participate in hands-on scientific investigations (including a Shadow Stick Investigation) to explore size, shape and position of the sun, Earth and moon and night and day.  They will create a poster to show their knowledge and understanding of the topic.
